Risks include burns, infection, scarring, pigment changes, contour irregularity, unwanted fat loss, prolonged swelling or firmness, altered sensation and nerve injury. There may be asymmetry or an unsatisfactory result. Dr. Chahal discusses the risks relevant to the proposed area, your health and possible alternatives.
Contact the clinic promptly for worsening pain, spreading redness, blistering or other unexpected symptoms. Seek urgent medical attention for visual changes or severe symptoms.
