You are welcome to ask for a second opinion, including after treatment at another clinic. Describe the change in your own words: how it looks or feels, when it began and what you expected. You do not need to know the cause before booking.
Questions about recovery
Tell Dr Amy about persistent changes in texture, firmness or sensation. New or worsening symptoms may need prompt medical care rather than a routine appointment.

Understand the findings and your options
Your history and examination guide the assessment. Imaging may help document changes or answer a particular question; Dr Amy will explain when additional assessment or referral is appropriate.
Records and imaging have limits. It may not be possible to establish exactly what caused a change or identify what was used during a previous procedure. You will hear what the findings support and where uncertainty remains.
The next step may be review, suitable treatment, further investigation or referral. A written summary helps you consider the advice and share it with another clinician if you wish. Any treatment recommendation includes its likely benefits, limitations, risks and costs.

Can I book if I was treated at another clinic?
Yes. Dr Amy Chahal can assess concerns after cosmetic treatment elsewhere. Bring the treatment date, area, product or device name if known, and any records or photographs. The assessment focuses on your current findings and appropriate next steps.
Which consultation should I choose?
A Focused Consultation with Dr Amy is $150 and suits one main concern. A Strategy Session is $250 for a broader assessment and longer-term plan. Both consultation fees are nonredeemable. Contact the team if you are unsure which appointment fits your situation.
Do I need my treatment records?
Records are helpful, but you can attend without them. Ask the original clinic for the treatment dates, products or devices used, areas treated and any relevant photographs. Missing information may limit what can be concluded.
Can imaging tell me exactly what was done?
Imaging can support assessment, but it cannot always identify a product, establish the cause of a change or reconstruct a previous procedure. Dr Amy will explain what can be assessed and where uncertainty remains.
Can every result be corrected?
No. Depending on the findings, options may include monitoring, further assessment, treatment or referral. Any proposed procedure has its own risks and limitations. The consultation helps you understand what is reasonable before deciding.
Will I have treatment at the appointment?
The purpose of a second-opinion appointment is assessment and planning. Treatment is not guaranteed on the day; timing depends on the findings, preparation, consent and availability. You can take time to consider the advice.
Can I start with a dermal therapist?
For skincare advice or planning routine skin treatments, a Complexion Consultation with a dermal therapist is available with a $100 deposit redeemable against treatment, not skincare products. For a concern after a cosmetic procedure, book with Dr Amy or contact the team to arrange the appropriate assessment.
