AGE WELL, ON YOUR TERMS
Think beyond your next appointment
A longer-term skin plan starts with what matters to you now and leaves room for change. We consider your daily routine, sun exposure, treatment preferences, budget and upcoming events, then agree on manageable next steps.
Assess & prioritise
Identify your main concerns and the foundations your skin needs. Bring your current skincare and tell us about previous treatments and medical history.
Treat & support
Choose suitable in-clinic care alongside a practical home routine. We explain preparation, likely benefits, limitations, risks and recovery before you decide.
Review & adapt
Review your response before planning further treatment. Your plan can evolve through seasonal changes, menopause and other stages of life.

Skin rejuvenation questions
Should I see a dermal therapist or Dr Amy Chahal?
A Complexion Consultation with a dermal therapist is a helpful starting point for skincare, hydration, congestion, pigmentation and texture concerns. You can also book directly with Dr Amy Chahal: a Focused Consultation for one main concern, or a Strategy Session for a broader plan. Your clinician will recommend medical assessment where needed.
How much is the consultation?
The Complexion Consultation requires a $100 deposit, redeemable against treatment, not skincare products. A Focused Consultation with Dr Amy Chahal is $150 and a Strategy Session is $250; both doctor consultation fees are nonredeemable. Treatment costs are discussed separately before you proceed.
Can I have treatment at my first visit?
Treatment may be possible on the day, depending on your assessment, preparation requirements and appointment availability. Some treatments need a separate appointment. Please tell the team if you hope to combine consultation and treatment.
Which skin rejuvenation treatment is best for me?
Your skin type, concerns, medical history, current skincare and recovery preferences guide the choice. Your plan may involve one treatment, a course or a combination, with review points to assess progress. You do not need to choose a device before your consultation.
Is there downtime?
Recovery varies with the treatment and its intensity. Even treatments with little expected downtime can cause temporary redness or sensitivity. Peels, microneedling and energy-based treatments may need more recovery time. Your clinician will explain the likely recovery, risks and aftercare for your proposed treatment.
Where are HarmonyXL and Sofwave treatments performed?
HarmonyXL and Sofwave treatments take place at FutureSkin in Rosebery. You can consult at TCMA in Surry Hills and include these treatments in a wider skin or facial plan. The team will confirm the treatment location when arranging your appointment.
How far ahead should I book before an event?
Let us know your event date when booking. A longer lead time gives you room for assessment, preparation, a treatment course where appropriate and recovery. Avoid trying an unfamiliar treatment immediately before an important event; timing is personalised to your skin and treatment.
Do you offer skin treatments for men?
Yes. Consultation and treatment planning are tailored to your skin, concerns and preferences. The same dermal therapist and doctor consultation options are available.
