Cosmetic medicine assessment and treatment planning are part of your consultation with Dr. Amy Chahal. Bring your questions, whether you are considering something for the first time or reviewing your existing care. Treatment may be possible on the day of your consultation, depending on your assessment, suitability and appointment availability. Treatment costs are discussed separately.
Dr. Amy will talk through your goals, medical history and previous treatments, explain suitable options and alternatives, and discuss potential benefits, risks and recovery. Your plan can be reviewed and adjusted at follow-up consultations as your needs change.
Choose a Focused Consultation for one concern, or the Strategy Session to consider cosmetic medicine, skincare and skin treatments together over the longer term. A consultation does not commit you to treatment.

Which consultation should I choose?
Choose the Strategy Session for a longer-term plan that considers cosmetic medicine, skincare and skin treatments together. A Focused Consultation is for one medical aesthetic concern with Dr. Amy. A Complexion Consultation with a dermal therapist looks at your skin, skincare and skin treatment options.
Is cosmetic medicine planning included in my consultation with Dr. Amy?
Yes. Both the Strategy Session and Focused Consultation include cosmetic medicine assessment and planning with Dr. Amy. The Focused Consultation addresses one concern; the Strategy Session takes a broader, longer-term view. Your options, suitability, potential benefits and risks are discussed privately, and your plan can be reviewed at follow-up consultations.
Is the consultation fee redeemable?
The $250 Strategy Session and $150 Focused Consultation fees are not redeemable against treatment. The $100 Complexion Consultation deposit is redeemable against treatment only, not skincare products.
Can I book a treatment directly?
If you already have a plan, visit the relevant treatment page for booking options. Your practitioner confirms suitability before treatment. Online bookings are appointment requests, and our team will confirm your appointment.
Where will my appointment take place?
TCMA is at 240 Riley Street, Surry Hills, Sydney. Consultations and Pico Laser take place at TCMA. Sofwave and HarmonyXL treatments are offered at FutureSkin in Rosebery. You can consult at TCMA, where we can include these treatments in your broader skin and medical aesthetic plan where appropriate.
