This is not a routine, a protocol, or a list of things to book. It is the thinking I use with every patient before we discuss any of that, written down for anyone who wants it.

Most of what reaches you about ageing arrives as a verdict already reached: this treatment, this serum, this correction, in that order, starting now. It rarely explains why. I have spent a decade in consultation rooms doing the opposite, starting with what is actually happening, structurally, before any conversation about what to do about it.

Ageing With Structure is that approach, in ten chapters, a working framework, a short self-check and a glossary of the terms this field throws around without explaining. No product list. No before and after. Read it before your next consultation, with me or with anyone else, and you’ll already know what to ask.

About Dr Amy Chahal

Dr Amy Chahal

Dr Amy Chahal is a cosmetic physician and the founder of TCMA (The Centre for Medical Aesthetics) in Surry Hills, Sydney, and of FutureSkin. Over more than a decade in medicine, her approach has centred on structural diagnosis and long-term treatment planning rather than single-procedure fixes.

She is the author of the forthcoming book Beauty by Design (HarperCollins). Ageing With Structure is a standalone companion to that thinking.

Before you buy

What format is it, and how do I get it?

A 38-page digital PDF, designed to read comfortably on a phone, tablet or desktop. It’s delivered by email straight after purchase, with instant access to download.

Is this medical advice?

No. It’s educational and reflects general thinking, not an assessment of you specifically. It isn’t a substitute for an individual consultation, and it doesn’t recommend or promote any particular treatment.

Do I need to be a TCMA patient to buy it?

No. It’s written for anyone thinking about ageing, skin health or a future treatment decision, whether or not you ever visit the clinic.

Is there a real, printed book coming?

Yes. Dr Chahal’s full-length book, Beauty by Design, is being published by HarperCollins. This guide is a short, separate piece written specifically for this purpose.
