Bring your current skincare, or photos of the labels, and details of any previous treatments. We’ll also ask about your health, medicines, supplements and allergies.

How long should I allow?

Allow around 45 minutes for your Complexion Consultation. Any treatment needs additional time, so ask the team when booking if you would like to discuss that possibility.

What is the $100 deposit redeemable against?

The $100 deposit is redeemable against treatment only. It is not redeemable against skincare products. Your therapist will explain any proposed treatment costs before you decide.

Should I arrive without makeup?

Clean skin is helpful for assessment and imaging. If that is not practical, we can cleanse your skin at the clinic.

How is this different from a consultation with Dr. Amy?

The Complexion Consultation is with a dermal therapist and focuses on skin assessment, skincare and suitable skin treatments. For one concern requiring Dr. Amy’s assessment, choose the Focused Consultation. For a broader face and skin roadmap, choose the Strategy Session.

Can I come while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes. Please tell the team when booking and your therapist during the consultation so this can be considered in the assessment and advice.

Can I have treatment on the same day?

Treatment may be possible on the day of your consultation, depending on your assessment, suitability and appointment availability. Treatment costs are discussed separately. Let the team know when booking if you would like to explore this.

Is my appointment confirmed when I book online?

Your appointment is confirmed once you successfully complete your online booking through Timely. If you need help with your booking, call (02) 8074 1559.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice. For cancellations or changes within 48 hours, or missed appointments, a fee of $100–$300 may apply, depending on the service and provider. Fees are charged at our discretion. Contact the team as soon as your plans change.
