FaceTite combines the effectiveness of two standouts in the medical aesthetic space: the application of radiofrequency energy and the use of liposuction for targeted contouring. It falls in the realm of RFAL – Radiofrequency assisted lipolysis.  It is a very technical procedure that, when performed by a qualified medical professional, can produce noticeable changes in a patient’s appearance.

Dr Amy and her team are happy to provide FaceTite to patients who are looking to attain meaningful change to their appearances.

Our Philosophy

The Centre for Medical Aesthetics operates on one paramount tenet: your aesthetic journey is as important as any other medical venture you embark on. Your concerns aren’t “just cosmetic.” Aesthetic care is still care, and we promise to treat them with equal gravitas.

Why Might Someone Consider FaceTite Treatment?

Since FaceTite uses radiofrequency energy, it is a great option for anyone looking to change the contouring in their face – especially the lower face and neck.  Patients who have this procedure done have seen results in the following conditions:

  • Fine lines
  • Dynamic wrinkles
  • Static wrinkles
  • Unwanted facial fat and jowls
  • Skin laxity

Of course, if you want to correct any of these conditions without removing fat, FaceTite probably shouldn’t be a consideration. (Take a look at the FAQs below if you are interested in knowing more about the specifics of radiofrequency energy to assist lipolysis.)

Is FaceTite Right for Me?

Summary:

  • Do you have conditions that you would like to treat in the list above?
  • Do you have realistic expectations regarding what can actually be achieved?
  • Have you done enough research into the results and what a successful treatment looks like?
  • Do you have any preexisting conditions that could interfere with the recovery or results?
  • Have you ever had an adverse reaction to treatments that use RF energy or liposuction?

If you have any preexisting medical conditions, it is best to let us know about them right away — they could have a negative reaction to the treatment and it is important that we avoid taking any unnecessary risks when it comes to your wellness.

During your consultation, let us know if you have ever had any adverse reactions to medical treatment, and share your medical history so that we are fully apprised. Feel free to bring in as many questions as you would like. It can feel overwhelming to consider treatment for the first time, and we want to make sure you are as informed as possible so that you are comfortable moving forward with your decision making.

You should also ensure that you have realistic expectations about what can be achieved with FaceTite — it is a minimally invasive procedure, which means your results will not be similar to surgical procedures. Look through many before and after photos and do ample amounts of research so that you know what kind of results are possible.

Understanding the FaceTite Process

At our practice, our first and foremost goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident about the decision to have a treatment performed. We won’t encourage you to have anything done that you aren’t ready for or undergo any procedure that we don’t think will ultimately get you closer to your ideal results.

A Consultation with The Centre for Medical Aesthetics

Summary:

  • We want to help you on your aesthetic journey, not sell you at any cost.
  • Your consultation is your biggest chance to have questions answered.
  • We are your care partner, even if you don’t sign up for treatment.

At TCMA, our first concern is not convincing you to sign up for a medical treatment. In fact, we’d prefer not to convince you at all. We want to give you as much information as you need to feel comfortable with a procedure like FaceTite. We are happy to provide you with a consultation and tell you whether or not the treatment you are considering is a good fit, but you are ultimately in the driver’s seat.

If we feel like there is a better route — even if that route includes none of our procedures — then we will tell you.

But, no pressure. Even if you decide against it we still want to be here to support you on your journey. In the future, if you decide to consider something new or revisit the idea of having FaceTite performed, we will gladly have you back.

The FaceTite Process

Summary:

  • Treatments are usually between one to two hours
  • A great option for demanding schedules or professions.
  • Local anesthesia and tumescence can help reduce any potential discomfort.

The first step in the FaceTite process is to properly clean the skin and provide a local anesthetic. This will help reduce any potential discomfort during the procedure and provide you with a much more comfortable experience. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, a small incision will be made, and the FaceTite cannula, a small radiofrequency cannula, will be inserted.

FaceTite Results

Our team can use FaceTite to create noticeable and targeted changes in your appearance to tackle concerns like unwanted fat deposits, excessive volume in the face, fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity. It is a great option for anyone who wants to tackle unwanted fat and experience a little extra improvement along the way.

Your results will come in waves — facial volume changes will be noticeable almost immediately, whereas skin laxity, fine lines, and wrinkles will show the majority of their improvements around the four- to six-week mark. Still, the latter will continue to improve, for anywhere from a few months to a year.

You Can Trust Us

Finding someone who you feel comfortable and confident with can be a challenging undertaking — but rest assured, our goal isn’t just to earn your trust, we want to continue to deserve it as we build our partnership and your aesthetic treatment.

Let’s Talk: Frequently Asked Questions

What Risks Are Associated with FaceTite?

In the right hands, risks associated with FaceTite are very rare. Most people experience a small amount of bruising, swelling, redness, or soreness as a result of the treatment, but these are typical and usually subside within a few days

It is possible for burns or nerve damage to occur if FaceTite is performed by someone without the proper training, so make sure to turn to someone with the right amount of experience and training, like the team at TCMA.

What Is Radiofrequency Energy?

Radiofrequency energy is a type of energy that can safely pass through the skin. It causes a tiny bit of controlled damage to the deeper layers, which actually helps its appearance. This triggers your body’s natural healing ability, making it produce more collagen and elastin, which are the building blocks that keep your skin firm and taut.

Let’s Talk About Unwanted Fat

Unwanted fat can be a stubborn problem, popping up even when we’re doing everything “right,” and making it feel like our bodies aren’t fully under our control. Pockets of fat like these are often resistant to diet and exercise, which is why treatments like AccuTite are so popular: they offer a way to address those areas that we often can’t do much about.
