AccuTite is a minimally invasive procedure, requiring only a tiny incision large enough to fit the device’s needle. However, being minimally invasive does not mean that it is technically easy; in fact, it is a highly complex procedure that requires an intricate understanding of facial and bodily anatomy and a practised technique.

Dr Amy and the team at TCMA are uniquely qualified to perform procedures of this calibre because of their extensive training, education, and commitment to providing patients with the most impactful results possible.

Our Philosophy

The Centre for Medical Aesthetics operates on one paramount tenet: your aesthetic journey is as important as any other medical venture you embark on. Your concerns aren’t “just cosmetic.” Aesthetic care is still care, and we promise to treat them with equal gravitas.

Why Might Someone Consider AccuTite Treatment?

AccuTite uses cutting edge RFAL (radiofrequency assisted lipolysis), meaning it has the capability of addressing multiple conditions simultaneously:

  • Fine lines
  • Dynamic wrinkles
  • Static wrinkles
  • Unwanted facial fat
  • Under eye skin contour concerns
  • Skin laxity in the face or neck
  • Unwanted body fat
  • Poor body or facial contouring

If you are experiencing any of these conditions and would like to consider addressing them, you may be a good candidate for AccuTite treatment. (You can read more about radiofrequency energy and liposuction in the FAQ below.)

Is AccuTite Right for Me?

Summary:

  • Do you have any preexisting conditions?
  • Are you experiencing any of the aforementioned conditions?
  • Have you had poor reactions to any of the technology used in AccuTite?
  • Are your expectations realistic about what this procedure can achieve?
  • Have you done an ample amount of research to fully understand achievable results?

Although AccuTite is a minimally invasive procedure, it is more powerful than many other cosmetic treatments simply because of the technology that can be harnessed in the right hands. But, like every treatment, it has its limits, so it is important that you have realistic expectations about what your results will end up being at the end of your treatment regimen.

Do plenty of research, look at before and after photos, ask as many questions as necessary during your consultation, and feel empowered to take it upon yourself to ensure AccuTite is something you want. While we can help you understand if AccuTite can help you achieve your goals, you need to feel equally as comfortable with the decision.

Some people might have preexisting conditions or adverse reactions to treatments that make AccuTite a poor fit. In those cases, we make a concerted effort to help you find an alternative that might fit more comfortably with your situation.

In some cases, that might be a different treatment, but other times, it might mean helping you figure out something that does not involve a cosmetic treatment — we are here to help you achieve your goals, not sell you a treatment at any cost.

Understanding the AccuTite Process

At our practice, our first and foremost goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident about the decision to have a treatment performed. We won’t encourage you to have anything done that you aren’t ready for or undergo any procedure that we don’t think will ultimately get you closer to your ideal results.

A Consultation with The Centre for Medical Aesthetics

Summary:

  • Our goal isn’t to sell you, it is to help you on your aesthetic journey.
  • Your consultation is your time, so make the most out of it.
  • We are here to help, regardless of whether you sign up or not.

As we mentioned previously, our primary concern isn’t to sign you up for a procedure. Of course, we would love for you to become a patient, but sometimes, the treatment you want isn’t a good fit, or the conditions you are experiencing aren’t severe enough to warrant something like AccuTite.

We want you to understand that we will let you know the truth about your aesthetic journey no matter what, even if it means we recommend not having a treatment performed. Likewise, if there is a different treatment that might be a better fit, we will be sure to make those recommendations as well.

The entire process is intricate, so we always recommend keeping a running list of questions and concerns on your phone or in a notebook. Bring the list with you on the day of your consultation so that we can cover everything on your mind. You should have as much information as possible when you are deciding to move forward or not.

If you decide against it — no problem, we are still here to be your partner whenever you decide to reconsider AccuTite or any other treatment.

The AccuTite Process

Summary:

  • Treatments are usually between 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • Great option for working professionals or busy schedules.
  • Local anesthesia can help reduce discomfort during the procedure.

While the AccuTite procedure does require a tiny incision, the recovery and process is very similar to other noninvasive treatments. You may be given local anesthesia to help reduce discomfort during the incision and treatment. Once the incision is made, the cannula is gently inserted under the skin.

We make sure that this process moves as smoothly as possible — we know you have a busy life, and we don’t want to tie up any more of your time than we need to. Since the treatment can be performed so quickly, people with busy schedules or demanding professions often turn to it.

AccuTite Results

Our practice can provide noticeable changes to signs of ageing like wrinkling, skin laxity, and unwanted fat with AccuTite treatment. The speed at which you notice these results will depend on what changes you are focusing on.

In most cases, patients will see a change in the amount of fat present in the targeted areas at about 6 weeks.  Skin laxity takes a little bit longer, usually around eight weeks to notice the bulk of the change, but subtle changes can be observed for up to a year in some cases.

You Can Trust Us

We know that finding someone you trust to handle your aesthetic journey can be a daunting task, but we want you to know that our first and foremost concern is not only earning your trust but continuing to deserve it every step of the way.

Let’s Talk: Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Radiofrequency Energy?

Radiofrequency is a distinct form of energy capable of penetrating the skin to cause controlled “damage” to the underlying tissue. This approach triggers the body’s inherent repair mechanisms, elevating your body’s production of vital proteins like collagen and elastin — two of the most abundant proteins in the body and the primary source of a taut skin structure.

What Risks Are Associated with AccuTite?

The risk level for AccuTite is generally very low and it is rare for people to experience any side effects for longer than a few days. With that being said, every treatment carries risks, and you should know that mild skin burns, swelling, bruising, scarring, poor skin reactions, and irregularities in skin contouring can develop. The more trained and qualified your aesthetic provider is, the less likely these conditions are to develop, but they often depend entirely on your body’s unique reaction to the treatment.

Let’s Talk About Collagen

Collagen is the primary protein responsible for our skin’s structure. After the age of 20, we lose about 1% of our collagen production every year. Eventually, this decrease becomes noticeable in the skin and creates telltale signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. AccuTite aims to boost your body’s production of collagen and reverse the process that contributed to those developments.

Let’s Talk About Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Wrinkles fall into two categories: static and dynamic, each distinguished by their appearance and formation. Static wrinkles, which are constantly visible, often result from facial volume loss or diminished collagen, with smile and marionette lines being typical examples. In contrast, dynamic wrinkles emerge with specific facial expressions, caused by habitual muscle movements. These include crow’s feet around the eyes, frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead creases from eyebrow lifts, and lip lines during speech.

Let’s Talk About Unwanted Fat

Stubborn pockets of fat can develop anywhere on the body and on anyone regardless of health or fitness levels. This means, in some cases, targeting this unwanted fat is impossible to do alone. Treatments like AccuTite are great for people in those situations because they provide an option where there would otherwise be none.
